In Focus #12 – Showcase of a Digital Artist

This week In Focus is featuring the outstanding illustrations LeafOfSteel, aka Nina Garncarczyk.

In Focus #12 - LeafOfSteel

Nina was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1981. She has been drawing since childhood, but has taken it more seriously in recent years.

Currently living in London, UK, Nina illustrates RPG corebooks as well as working for individual clients and her own projects.

Nina is also a musician and vocalist and a professional make-up artist.

She says: “As a painter, I’m constantly struggling between two basic influences: Japanese manga, and European realism. I also often experiment with techniques, combining drawing with painting.”

Links to more of Nina’s work – both her art and her music – are listed after the showcase.

I love using and learning Photoshop, and I also enjoy creating resources to share with the world. I am at my happiest when I have free time to further explore all that Photoshop has to offer and learn more about its powerful built-in tools. I hope people enjoy either using or learning from my free resources, and welcome any hints and tips - and of course, if you would like to offer a free resource on this site, please don't hesitate to contact me (top right of the page).
