In Focus #6 – Showcase of an Artist

This week’s In Focus is showcasing the beautiful photo manipulations of wintersmagic, aka Eleanor MacDonald

In Focus #6

Eleanor lives in Hastings in the south of England. She is a 46-year-old mum and a part-time librarian.

She has only been using Photoshop for about a year, and considers herself to have ‘no artistic ability’.

Well, decide for yourself… personally I don’t believe being artistic is only a case of being able to pick up a pencil and draw – a good deal of what constitutes an artist is imagination, and Eleanor has that in shed-loads!

Her preferred genres are fantasy/legend, gothic, dark, etc – as you will see in this showcase.

I love using and learning Photoshop, and I also enjoy creating resources to share with the world. I am at my happiest when I have free time to further explore all that Photoshop has to offer and learn more about its powerful built-in tools. I hope people enjoy either using or learning from my free resources, and welcome any hints and tips - and of course, if you would like to offer a free resource on this site, please don't hesitate to contact me (top right of the page).
